Paul is a professor in the Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering Department at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater. He teaches both undergraduate and graduate engineering courses, and conducts interdisciplinary research and development in sensors, instrumentation, automation, water system engineering, and food and crop processing. Before joining Oklahoma State University, he was on the faculty of California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. Paul's post-graduate industry experience includes significant engineering positions with the Electro Optical Systems Division of Litton Industries and with L-3 Aeromet Inc. Since 2009, Paul has served as OSU’s Engineers Without Borders (EWB) advisor and has traveled with engineering students to Central America nine times. Paul initiated and integrated the EWB international project work into OSU’s College of Engineering, Architecture, and Technology (CEAT) Study Abroad Program, resulting in his development of two new CEAT service learning courses.
