Devon Hill

Tier 1 Research Initiative Grant Writer 



Devon spent most of her childhood in Charlotte, NC. She earned a B.A. in Anthropology at Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts in 2004. She then studied Social Sciences with an emphasis on Cultural Anthropology at University of Chicago, earning a M.A. in 2005. Devon served as an Adjunct Professor of Anthropology at Prairie State College in IL from 2005-2006. From 2006 to 2015, she worked in industry as a Proposal Manager and Market Research Manager before reentering higher education at University of St Andrews and Heriot-Watt University in Scotland as the Research and Proposal Officer. Devon came to OSU in 2017. Currently she is the Tier 1 Research Initiative Grant Writer where she helps team members develop grants to federal agencies as well as foundations.
